ATHENS

Park View Penthouse

The Story

The apartment is a unique example of 1950s architecture. Its general décor consists of the original furniture as well as decorative and functional items that have been acquired by my family over the decades.
It is very bright, as it is surrounded by windows equipped with aluminum frames to protect against external temperature, but primarily to reduce street noise. The shutters have electric switches, making it quick and easy to open and close them.

The apartment combines luxury and comfort with all the necessary modern amenities for an impeccable stay, including air conditioning in all rooms, a 50″ flat-screen TV with Google Chromecast, WiFi, and the special privilege of autonomous heating that runs continuously. It can be adjusted by you via a central panel on the wall, ensuring comfort during the cold months.

Upon entering the apartment, you will find yourself in an impressive large area consisting of a hallway, dining room, and living room. These three spaces are interconnected, giving a sense of openness and spaciousness. At the same time, they can function independently, providing great flexibility in terms of privacy and quiet.

Bedroom I

The bedroom features a 160 cm wide double bed with an anatomical mattress with pocket spring coils and memory foam.

Τhe desk is ideal for professionals who wish to work on their laptop while enjoying the view of the neighboring buildings.

The room also has plenty of storage space for your belongings, including a walk-in closet where you can store your clothes and luggage.

Bedroom II

The second bedroom has a 150 cm wide double bed with an anatomical mattress with pocket spring coils and memory foam.

It has a large wardrobe and dresser for your belongings, as well as space to store your luggage.

Living Room

Upon entering the apartment, you will find yourself in an impressive large area consisting of a hallway, dining room, and living room.

These three spaces are interconnected, giving a sense of openness and spaciousness.

At the same time, they can function independently, providing great flexibility in terms of privacy and quiet.

Dinning Room

Step into the bright and welcoming dining room, a perfect spot to gather around the large wooden table for meals or long conversations. From here, you can enjoy a beautiful view of the elegant neoclassical building just across the street, giving the room a charming and authentic atmosphere.

The room also offers a small library with literature, art books, and comics in Greek, English, Italian, and German, along with a selection of games and puzzles. The spacious table is ideal not only for dining but also for reading, playing, or simply spending time together.

Balcony & View

A spacious balcony runs around the corner of the apartment, giving you plenty of room to enjoy. With a large table and comfortable chairs, it’s perfect for breakfast or an evening drink while looking out over “Pedion tou Areos” the biggest park in Athens. Right below, the square with its fountain lights up beautifully at night.

The distance from nearby buildings, along with the plants and small trees,  create a sense of space, privacy, and a refreshing touch of nature in the middle of the city.

Kitchen

The kitchen is divided into three areas.
The large dining area, the main kitchen area where you will find everything you need for cooking.

Lastly, in the third area, you will find the electric oven and two electric stovetops for cooking.

Bathroom

The bathroom is spacious and filled with natural light, featuring its original marble wall cladding and a charming mosaic floor that preserves the apartment’s vintage character. A large window allows plenty of daylight to brighten the space, creating a fresh and relaxing atmosphere.

It includes a shower, ample space for your personal toiletries, a hairdryer, and complimentary essentials such as shampoo, conditioner, jasmine-scented shower gel, and body sponges.
